Welcome to Lynes & Lynes Antiques, Cork's leading Antiques Company. We commenced Antique "Fine Art auctions" in 1976. We originally had an office at Marlboro Street in Cork before finally moving to our premises at 48A McCurtain Street where we have been operating for the last 30 years.
We have conducted auctions throughout Munster during that time. The auctions have had many high points throughout the years notably in 1995 we sold a painting by Sir. John Lavery, "The Funeral of Michael Collins" for £120,000 which was the most expensive picture ever sold at auction in Cork at that time. Ten years later in 2005 we held an auction entitled The Cork Sale. Another record price was achieved at this auction for "The View of Cork", by John Butts which realized €700,000.
We now hold auctions at our Mc Curtain St premises every 4 - 5 weeks. These auctions comprise of good Georgian furniture, paintings and effects and are well worth viewing.
